Jesus Christ preexistedÊthe IncarnationÊ(John 8:58). He existed in aÊpreincarnateÊform before He was incarnated (Php. 2:6). However, in this preexisting form He had no beginning.ÊJesus Christ isÊ"theÊBeginning"Ê(Rev. 3:14,Ê21:6,Ê22:13). We can be sure that He preexisted the creation of the world in the genesis of time; for, in actuality, HeÊCreatedÊit (Genesis 1:1;ÊJohn 1:1-5,ÊCol. 1:16-17,ÊEph. 3:9). Jesus is one among the plurality of people, who said,Ê"LetÊus make man in our Image"Ê(Gen. 1:26), when the mighty and strong creator God, called,ÊElohimÊ(Gen. 1:26), created mankind. Herein, from eternity past, long before Jesus becameÊtheÊSon ofÊMan,ÊHe was alwaysÊtheÊSon of GodÊin whomÊtheÊFatherÊdelights (Prov. 8:22-31); and, asÊtheÊSon of God,ÊJesus isÊtheÊAlphaÊandÊtheÊOmegaÊ(Rev. 1:8,Ê11,Ê21:6,Ê22:13) -Êthe Second Person of the GodheadÊwho has interposed Himself on behalf of mankind from theÊbeginning, even before the fall of Adam, theretofore untilÊtheÊincarnation, andÊmuch moreforevermore (1 Cor. 5:1-5,ÊPs. 110:1,ÊMatt. 28:19-20,ÊRom. 5:10).
