The satirical tale "The Princess and the Pea" was an old Swidish tale, rewritten and published by Hans Christian Andersen in 1835. This popular tale is written in in a style reminiscent of the old oral storytelling techniques. It tells the story of a princess who prooves her royalty status by being overly dramatical and sensitive. Each page is filled with beautiful hand-drawin illustrations and hand lettering.
