This Cook Book contains favourite recipes from the Captain's Family Cook Book, with an Indian overtone. Recipes to suit all tastes are within its pages and include Soups, a Curry Corner (including accompaniments), Main Courses, Desserts, Cakes, Biscuits & Slices, plus a section on 'Something Different' - preserves, snacks, confectionery, and drinks included.
The descendants of the Captain and his Lady, have all contributed to this collection of recipes, some from many decades ago and some from more recent times. Most, if not all of these recipes have been tried and tested and importantly, all are tasty and pleasant on the tongue.
Captain Jim Leese with his wife Daphne would undoubtedly be thrilled to think that their descendants followed in their footsteps to provide their own families with the joy of fellowship to be found around the table, sharing, laughing, reminiscing and most importantly, enjoying good food.
