In the East of London at the end of the red line and a bus ride, the cockney sparrows live a segregated life away from the pearly sparrows on the other side of the forest.
Whistler, a young pearly sparrow crosses over the silver birch border into the forbidden forest. There he meets Shoreditch, a beautiful cockney sparrow. He soon learns that the cockney sparrows have a much better way of life.
If Whistler and Shoreditch can unite, via matrimony, they can end the apartheid and bring the two colonies of cockneys and pearlys together. They dream of living in peace and not war. The second story in the Tales of the New River Series.
