It's Spring Break 1976. Gerald Ford is in the
White House, Barry Manilow is writing the
songs that make the whole world sing and a
guy named Steve Jobs is about to form Apple
Computer Inc. out of his garage. Deep in the
heart of the south, four college freshmen are
heading back home and about to catch a curve
in the road.
Stuck on the highway and forced to abandon
their 1968 Chevy Malibu, these four teenagers
must make it back to the Land of Lincoln the
only way they can: with their thumbs up as cars
go by.
In this coming-of-age tale, find out how these
