A group of aging Chicanos go in search of their good friend Oscar Zeta Acosta, famed Chicano lawyer and author during the tumultuous Movimiento, when Chicanos fought for their Civil Rights in the late Ô60's and early Ô70's. At that time, this group published a short-lived literary journal, "Con Safos: Reflections of Life in the Barrio." Now they embark on a journey to solve the forty-year mystery of Zeta's disappearance, encounter a gang of Mexican narcotraficantes, and are thrust deep into a mystical world of ancient indigenous people living in a higher dimension.
