In caring for my husband for ten years as we dealt with Alzheimer's Disease, I learned so much. I thought some of it might be helpful to others on their journey. Joining a support group was an important part of it. Sharing ideas with other caregivers was necessary. Keeping a journal was therapy for me. Based on that I decided to write the book. On the cover drawing, Al has a shadow. Many times I felt that he was not there and was just a shadow.
