Over the years, as I transitioned from corporate executive to start-up founder, management consultant and then to chief commercial executive of a large private construction company, the Sigmoid Curve became a cornerstone of my approach to identify the business strategy per the entity's sigmoid phase.
I also witnessed firsthand how businesses and people (including myself), blinded by their peak success, failed to anticipate their stagnation and decline and how they could start a second curve and thrive again.
Today, as I reflect on my journey, my successes and failures, ups and downs, it is clear that the Sigmoid Curve is more than just a metaphor or a frameworkÑit is a philosophy for growth, adaptation, and renewal.
