Jake Sult left his fatherÕs huge Texas ranch at the
outbreak of the Civil War and became an effective
platoon leader behind enemy lines, only to have his
reputation as a military leader place a bounty on his head after the war.
This story tells of JakeÕs life as he dodged the bounty hunters all the way to Montana and eventually back to Texas, where he found himself the sole owner of the ÒThe Skull,Ó one of the largest ranches in the territory.
Jake now had to not only face the challenges of running a ranch, but dealing with the relentless judge that had placed the bounty on him.
