"The state is safe vol. 1" is a collection of three separate works of poetry, including two previously published books, "those not fit [1]" and "the famine months," and the previously unpublished "those not fit [2]."
"Those not fit [1] and [2]" are collections of poems from Jesse's blog, yoursonjoe.tumblr.com, which chronicle the often-overlooked issues of inequality, greed, social injustice, and class warfare. "The famine months" is a separate collection altogether, but it too addresses the brutal underbelly of corporate greed and how it's poison leads to greater social issues such as racism, sexism, and lifelong poverty.
All proceeds benefit peaceful charities.
