The Stellar Apartments: The story and data behind the nation's first affordable multi-family passive house. A team of student researchers with the NetZED Case Study Laboratory from the Department of Architecture, University of Oregon, undertook a two-year energy and heat-use study of this innovative project. Data were gathered and analyzed comparing the performance between the passive house building and an identical building built to the Earth Advantage standard. This study was done in partnership with and made possible by the Saint Vincent de Paul Society of Lane County and the City of Eugene, OR.
