In the southern United States of America, Lillie Bell Smith
grew up on farms, married Moses Anderson Plunkett and
raised a large family. Stories of her childhood bring to light
the trials of living in the 1900's. Her story is told here by her
daughter Mary Plunkett Howbert who also included
genealogical sketches of Lillie's siblings, parents and
grandparents. Tami Howbert Thomas researched further into
Lillie's ancestry and uncovered many wonderful details and
stories. Not only can Lillie's descendants discover the
names and stories of their ancestors, but many, many
branches of the Smith clan will find information pertinent to
their history within these pages.
In Lillie's ancestry she is directly connected to the
following family names. Each connection is detailed in this
book.
