Six months ago, our school launched a ÒHumans of New YorkÓ-style project featuring our students. The project gave our kids a platform to share their stories, and they talked about everything from love and family to presidential politics and what scares them about growing up.
The page - "Humans of KIPP Austin Obras" -was initially intended for just our school community. But something surprising happened: The page took off.
More than a million views later, it is time to take our favorite stories and make a book. This book is a compilation of 70 of our favorite stories.
