Nine-year-old Matthew lives with his loving family in a house with tall trees and the coolest backyard.
But one of those trees is growing claws and a mean attitude to match. No longer satisfied with scraping MatthewÕs window, it makes the family cat, fluffy and pampered Vincent Von Calico, its prisoner.
Determined to save his cat and his family, Matthew teams up with Mumbles, the monster under his bed. Together they set out on a nighttime adventure to stop the Tree of Claws once and for all.
