People in recovery tell their intriguing stories; you can hear them in meetings all over the world. This, however, is a group of a dozen or so alcoholics who died in their disease, posthumous first-person stories not nearly so cheerful or optimistic as those others. They still reveal their underlying mutual support and affection, modestly muted.
