The Komuso adept is meant to be in the world and active as a stagehand moving the elements of life while living his own life and doing his will, beyond the need for such things as praise; result is the key. Koura Kaze blends the Nine Ways, revealed in the books Ninja Magick and Revelations of the Black Lotus, which form the basis of Komuso Nin Do.
This includes mental and emotive training along with unarmed and armed combat, with an emphasis on the idea of and the practice of using the sword, revealing the sword style of the Komuso Ryu. Another focus in Koura Kaze is the Ghost Palm form of the Dim Mak or Death Touch, which has its roots in the mountains of Mao Shan in China.
