The Wedge Book Volume II is a collection of 225 song sheets designed for jam circles. Each song is formatted to fit on a single page, with chords placed above the lyrics for every verse, along with a chord chart for reference. The goal is to make it easier to learn and follow along as the song is played.
The Wedge Book is meant to be used as a Òcheat sheetÓ for jam circles. The lyrics, basic chords and chord charts are provided, but youÕll need to listen to each song to understand the melody and rhythm.
Most of the songs are notated using the Nashville Number System (e.g. 1, 4, 5 instead of G, C, D) to allow the singer to easily change the key.
A Òfun factÓ is provided for many of the songs in this book. Having done only surface level research some of this information might be incorrect. I usually think the lore of a song is interesting, regardless if itÕs true.
