Last year's collection of short stories and illustrations started with a bunch of students who didnÕt know they were going to be published. Those writers, just a handful of their teacher's 200+ students, thought they were writing a story for their Honors English class. And ended up being published.
This year, the students knew they had a chance if their story was good enough. And they stepped up to the plate. And hit home runs.
Over the past few months, these middle school students worked hard to revise their work. Soon, they partnered with illustrators who won the cover art competition for each story and collaborated to design artwork that goes with each story.
Which brings us to now.
The collection is done Ñ 24 original stories accompanied with original artwork, wrapped in original cover artwork. And all of it, created by students.
So we hope you enjoy our efforts because we sure all enjoyed the journey!
