Children are inherently drawn to nature. It is an instinctive attraction to find natural elements interesting, from plants and wildlife to settings such as ponds, rivers, and mountains. ChildrenÕs love for nature, known as biophilia, is a bond that naturally occurs at a young age. We were interested in exploring biophilia in building design, creating a nature-infused early childhood learning environment that acts as a natural learning tool with the surrounding environment.
