ÔThis Close to the SkyÕ is a collection of non-fiction, lyric essays and flash fiction that deals heavily with the theme of self exploration. Coming to terms with oneÕs self through acceptance of the past entwined with the hunger for new personal experiences. The stories center around the mountains and deserts of the southwest United States and various other places that I have called home.
