For 10 years, Commencement Bay Haiku's collaborative artists have explored haiku and its more traditional, related forms, and celebrated each other as sumi artists and as photographers. The 19 contributors are Mostly (but not Always) from the Pacific Northwest- and informed by its rich indigenous cultural influences. Their work explores our traditional relationship to nature as well as modern themes, and universal experience.
