this PLANNER is a project started by Jonathan Chasteen that partners with the community of plannerphiles using GitHub -- a platform for the version control software git -- which provides a forum for discussing requests, proposing changes, and access to the "source code" that comprises this PLANNER.

this PLANNER is created with the open source desktop publishing program Scribus (similar to Adobe Illustrator) which stores data in the form of XML documents, i.e. plain text. This makes it perfect for tracking changes using git! Come check it out at https://github.com/jechasteen/thisPLANNER
