"Thomas and the Fire" is a childrenÕs story inspired by my youngest nephew, Thomas, who at the age of 8 asked me to write a story about him and fire. So the next day, even to my surprise, I wrote it. The story is about a young, energetic 8 year old nephew who spends time with his uncle one night building a fire and making "magic." The nephew and uncle share a fond relationship and have fun that night! Children ages 4-10 should enjoy this "heart-warming" (pun intended) story as well as the colorful and vibrant illustrations. Adults should enjoy the story as well, for it is a subtle reminder to make time for the important things in life.
