This is a collection of three Christmas sermons preached the first Sunday of Christmas at Apostles Anglican Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. Each sermon exposits at least one of the lectionary texts for that given Sunday, especially John 1:1-18, and Galatians 3:23-4:7. The sermons seek to encourage God's people to understand, appreciate, and apply the wonder of Christmas to their lives, as well as encourage God's people to share the glory of Christ to friends, colleagues, and neighbors. "In the fullness of time," the Second Person of the Trinity took on human form, was born of a woman, walked in our midst, and died on the cross for our sins. He is now exalted in the heavens. Jesus came into the so that we might be adopted children in the royal house household of the Triune God. Our Lord and Savior is thus our big brother in the faith, and we can now, along with Jesus, call God the Father "Abba," or Daddy. This is the incredible gift that God has given us.
