Today, in fast-paced America it is often difficult to slow down and fully understand the many problems facing our society, let alone propose solutions and call others to action. InÊThrough Our Eyes Ð Issues from WomenÕs Perspectives students from Bay Path UniversityÕs Women Writers Project have explored some of the most significant issues in today's society from shocking cases of animal cruelty and endangered species poaching, to the importance of art education and preschool, to families struggling to find resources for their children, and to issues of equality and justice for minorities. The articles in this book are meant not only to help the authors solve real problems but also to serve as model research essays for future students at the university. We thank the women in this writing project who came before us for their essays and we thank you for listening and for taking action to make a better tomorrow for all of us.
