This is the handbook for the TLM Level 2 qualification that counts towards progress 8 in the headline points scores in the school league tables for 2019. It describes the assessment model and provides an example test, the content syllabus for the test and examples and guidance for assessing coursework. The aim is to introduce learners to this fast moving world and equip them for jobs in these industries in the near future. A detailed analysis of how qualifications and certificates are awarded has resulted in cost savings to schools but more importantly, significantly reduced administrative overhead for teachers.
