History has shown countries initiate wars based on delusions, illusions, unrealistic expectations, ancient myths, (The ÒHoly BookÓ told me so!) Or a basic greed and need to go after other countryÕs Òstuff;Ó raw materials, natural resources, slaves and territory.
This course ÒsegmentÓ is intended as background and information for students studying American and World History, Political Science or any scholastic course examining war. This book is not meant to rail or preach against the Military or Government, rather simply to relate the experience of war in its own, cruel reality and let students draw their own conclusions.
Vietnam was a brutal, horrifying experience I wouldnÕt wish on anyone; something no one should ever repeat again.
