Eddie works in perhaps the least likely of places. No one expects to see a pretty young girl working so closely with the dead. For Eddie though, this is more than a job. For each body she examines at Rogerson Morgue, she can't help but imagine the life they led.
Never did she imagine this skill to ever be more than her own macabre fanfiction.
Enter John, local police officer who sees her little mental exercises as untapped talent desperately needed to solve a perplexing felony. A killer is working his way across the state. All of the victims found in the same position, hanging upside down in secluded areas of town while dressed in their Sunday best. Just to make it a little more disturbing, not a spot of blood to be found even though the bodies are drained dry.
Like never before, Eddie is working against the clock to solve a crime while the killer continues to hunt. How can she be expected to help when the professionals are lost in pinning down a suspect, or even a believable motive?
