Follow the lives of the DavidsonÕs, a sharecropper family from rural Kentucky, as they seek out a better life in Northern Indiana during the 1960Õs. Their search meets with a disaster that reshapes the family forever. Twelve year old Alecia Davidson is particularly impacted and struggles to reconcile things in her mind until she passes through her own rites of passage into adulthood and parenting.
