According to TRIZ the tricks of all inventions can be summarized to only forty principles. After studying several thousand IT inventions from US Patent database the author has come to a conclusion that the same principles can also be effectively applied to the problems in the field of IT.
The book cites about 100+ IT Patents, 150+ Case Highlights and 200+ Graphic Illustrations, 1500+ Index Entries with their corresponding TRIZ principles. A priliminary manuscript of this book was published by Technical Innovation Center (MA, USA) and was exhibited in "TRIZCON-2007". An overwhelming response from different parts of the world urged to release this revised edition.
The manuscript of the book was highly acclaimed by Dr. Toru Nakagawa (Prof. Informatics, OGU, Japan). The whole book has been translated into Japanese language by Sozo Kaihatsu Initiative (Tokyo, Japan) and was first exhibited in "The Fourth TRIZ Symposium in Japan" held in September 2008.
