The Troubadours were a group of French travelling musicians alive between 1100 and 1350 who wrote and performed songs that tell of chivalry and courtly love. The TWENTY TROUBADOUR SONGS contained in this book have been arranged from their original neumatic notation to contemporary notation that is readable by all musicians. These songs can be used as performance pieces or etudes for a variety of purposes.
