Poems written during the 1970s and 80s while the author lived in Amherst MA, Chapel Hill, NC, New York City, and traveled in the US, Europe, and elsewhere. They are short, introspective, experimental, lyrical, visual, imagistic, and sometimes surrealistic. The subject matter ranges from personal experience and travel to reflection on historical people, places, and some of the author's favorite poets.
