Back in 2017, I hired a professional model, Tashia McIntosh, for two separate photo shoots. The first one, on September 18th, was on the beach and surrounding areas at La Jolla Shores, in San Diego, California. The second, on November 21st, was in the mostly-empty mailbox store I was soon opening. The first day, we shot from about 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. She brought swimsuits from Brigite Swimwear and other active wear. Several of the pictures were used by Brigite Swimwear to showcase their one-piece swimsuits. I ended up with a sunburn and almost 1,000 great pictures. Two months later, we shot from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Again, she brought all her own outfits ( except a shirt for the store I was about to open ) and we finished with over 2,000 more great pictures. The images in this book are the ones I think are the best from those 3,000 images. She was a great model to work with, and took direction very well, as well as providing valuable insight into the process and helping the outcome be even better. I hope you enjoy these images. I enjoyed taking them.
