The author developed the box-paragraphing strategy to support weak writers and their teachers. Umph offers a structured approach to story writing. The author uses "box-paragraphing" with Blackboard Configuration, mini workshops and reflective journaling. She coaches instructors as they use this new approach to teaching narrative writing.
