Under the Harvest Moon and Other Picturesque Country SceneÕs is actually the second movement of FeazelleÕs Symphony in C, which is able to double as a stand alone tone poem. The piece is thirteen minutes and forty five minutes in length, and over such, affords the listener several dark, neoromantic scenes/themes to explore, using the composerÕs early 20th century English school of music inspired language. The composer will be publishing the full symphony in its original form in his juvenilia catalog, though the first movement likely does need some revision, which he plans to accomplish during retirement. The work is for full orchestra 3-3-3-3, 4-3-3-1, percussion including glockenspiel, timpani, harp and strings.
