The study Urban Development: the State of the Sustainable Art provides a quick scan of the worldwide state of the art in sustainable urban development. It draws lessons from the best practices and explores possibilities for application of (elements of ) these practices within the Dutch context, especially in Almere, the youngest city of the Netherlands.
