I grew up in Germany in WWII, and immigrated to Canada soon thereafter. I fulfilled one of my dreams by spending a year in the Arctic in a home-made cabin. After settling in the Puget Sound region, I raised two boy with my husband, Bob and together we enjoyed our magnificent environment hiking, climbing skiing and kayaking.
Currently, in my 80Õs, I still enjoy mountain sports both summer and winter in the neighboring Cascade Range.
