Corelli's opus 5 contains a collection of 12 violin sonatas. The gigue is the last dance from the third sonata in C major. It was transcribed for the lute in 1732 by Santiago de Murcia, but the texture is much too thin for the guitar. I went back to the violin sonata score and added harmonies the guitar can easily handle. I believe the piece works quite well now and should be playable by anyone with an intermediate to advanced technique.
