In the spring semester of 2011 students from six Virginia Tech studios participated in an internal design competition to create a Virginia headquarters for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF). The organization had recently purchased waterfront land in the eastern part of the commonwealth, and students were challenged to create a park, environmental center, places for office workers, a place for events and a place for the education of visitors. The work of the finalists - selected from each studio - is included in this publication.
