The first part of Dante AlighieriÕs Divine Comedy was written in 1320 and depicted Dante and the Roman Poet Virgil descending through the nine circles of Hell, each one highlighting one of the cardinal sins as described by the Catholic church at the time. Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Wrath, Heresy, Violence, Fraud, and Treachery. Over the years these defined sins have evolved, into something more close to Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, and Pride. The latter is the structure of this tale.
Within this story, there are monsters of not only the devilish kind, but also the human variety. Much like Earth, Hell is made up of individuals not unlike you and I. Additionally, much like Earth, Hell is a place that can be perceived differently depending on how you act and operate within it. It is my hope that this tale is as interesting and exciting as it is thought-provoking. Above all I hope you, my dear reader, enjoy it.
