The 2012 Virginia Society AIA Prize Student Design Competition was held this January 27-30, 2012. Accounced at 5:00pm that Friday and due at 9:00am on the following Monday, one 20"x30" board clearly delineating the proposal was expected of each participant. Held each year the last week in January, students spend a single weekend designing a response to a problem created by faculty from one of Virginia's architecture schools.
This year, the program was designed by faculty at Hampton University.
