Claude, an engineer with aeronautical background coming from a resolutely atheist family is a born skeptic. During a trip to Hong Kong, he meets Florida who becomes his wife, joins him in the USA and continues to devote herself to disabled people in the geriatric ward of a Texan hospital. Florida, a fervent Christian who, for more than 17 years, dedicated herself to serve suffering people, will persuade him to attend a Dr. Pearl's seminar on what he calls "Reconnective Healing."
