This is a novel about a man who loved his country, his family, the Marine Corp and his fellow Americans. He became a casualties of war when he is captured and sent to a Viet Cong prison camp. His strength, determination to survive and his ingenuity returned him to his love ones. He found they had suffered casualties of their own and had moved on to a life without him since he had been declared dead seven years prior to his escape.
