On October 3rd, 2015 the city of Greensboro is changed forever. Due
to an incident involving the water treatment facility, many citizens
have received a trial medication to protect them from a deadly
bacteria. The unintended results of the trial emerge today,
transforming those who received the medicine into vicious, rabid
things whose only impulse is to transmit the infection to every living
person they see.
Of the original 10,000 inhabitants of Greensboro, only small pockets
of the uninfected remain, and over the course of a single day the city
becomes doomed. Will the few lucky, uninfected citizens survive? If
they do, what might they lose in the process?
