Exploring the brink of madness and the thin veil of sanity, I am attempting to become intimate with mental illness through the medium of surrealist automation.
Based on illustrations by my mother while suffering a mental breakdown, these illustrations seek to connect the gap of "sane" and the "insane" and to find a deeper meaning into the fragile nature of the human psyche.
What It's Like To See Them is my attempt to allow the viewer the chance to Know what It's Like to have Demons, real or otherwise.
