In her book entitled, "What's the Point?" Lenexa, Kansas artist Catherine Kirkland, provides insights into her inspiration and process for creating her neo-pointillist, space series paintings. Full color pages show her vibrantly colored abstract paintings with insets that provide close-ups of the dotted details.
