Joan A. Clare Butler was born in New Orleans, LA, where her father was pursuing his law degree at Tulane University. After his graduation, the family moved to the Republic of Panama, his home country. Jo grew up there until she attended Columbia College in Columbia, SC. It was there that she met her husband, Clint. Four children and fifty years later, they are settled in the upstate of South Carolina, where they enjoy country life, family, friends, and their active walk with God. JoÕs close relationship with Jesus is her center for the obstacles she faces with ParkinsonÕs Disease.
