This is academically researched paper pertaining to the need for gender separation for adolescent girls studying Science, Engineering, Technology and Math (STEM). With emphasis on counteracting stereotype threats that girls encounter in these fields, there are suggestions for increasing how much female students enjoy STEM studies and to make it more likely these girls will pursue STEM careers when they grow up Ð filling an ever-increasing number of employment opportunities in the United States workforce.
