On January 6, 1973, Garrick OÕrel Thames was born into this world. GarrickÕs mother lived in Boston and his father resided in Manning, South Carolina. Garrick observed his mother juggling two or more jobs at once. During the time that his mother was at work, his aunt or one of his cousins would watch him.
As a young boy, Garrick always wondered what type of man his father was; he felt abandoned by him. He had questions with no answers. Not having that love from his father, Garrick turned to the mean streets of Boston. He found his comfort in gangs, prisons, and drugs.
Thirty years passed and in that fog, Garrick finally heard the voice of God saying, ÒTrust in me.Ó
Garrick followed that voice and turned his life over to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
