This revised version of "Wise Owl's Reading Readiness" workbook begins with a story called, "Alphatalk Street". The story introduces every letter of the alphabet in a fun way. After the story, students learn to identify each letter, capital and small. The students first learn how to form the basic strokes for writing letters. Then, they begin learning how to print each letter of the alphabet, using three lines. Multi-sensory teaching techniques are stressed. Little by little, children learn to trace and print, first words and later sentences. There is an ABC chart included, plus three tests at the end of the workbook. The revised workbook gives more practice in identifying capital and small letters that are at the beginning of a word. There are also more review pages.
